Payment & Work Process:

We’ll email you an invoice with a link at the bottom to make a payment via paypal. We require 50% down to get the project started. Once you’ve submitted payment, along with final files, we’ll give you the official completion date for the project. Please note that when calculating the project due date, any payment received after 4pm EST will be considered as received on the following business day.

After we’ve finished coding, we’ll send you a link to view the layout. If everything looks ok, then the balance will be due.

Once the balance of the invoice is paid, we’ll send you a zip of all the files. If fixes are needed, we’ll make those and send you an updated link. If any design or content changes are requested after the project begins, those will be billed at our standard hourly rate.
Payments for Hosted CMS Projects or Development on Your Server
All projects for hosted CMS products such as LightCMS, Business Catalyst, or Shopify and any project where development is done on your server, require payment in full to start the project.
Project Deadlines
In order to start a project, we need payment, final files, and all project specifications. When calculating the project due date, any payment received after 4pm EST will be considered as received on the following business day. The day a payment is submitted (prior to 4pm EST) is considered day “0”. As an example, if payment and final files are submitted on Monday at 12:30pm EST for a 3 day project, the deadline for the project would be EOD Thursday. If payment for that project were submitted at 6pm EST, Tuesday would be considered day “0” and the deadline would be EOD Friday.
When submitting a project, we recommend allowing at least 1 extra business day to allow for project questions and payment processing. Any project involving custom development, CMS integration, or a large number of pages will require a custom timeline.

Changes
Any changes to an existing project or changes to a project after development begins, will be billed at our standard hourly rate. All changes must be submitted in writing. Turn around time for changes will be a minimum of 1 week and may take longer depending on the complexity of the changes.
Deploying a Site to a Live Hosting Environment & WordPress Installation
When we are responsible for taking a website live, the process will be as follows:
- You are responsible for providing us with the following information:
- FTP/SFTP Logins
- DB Name, user name, password, and server host
- DB Access Tool such as phpMyAdmin or direct DB access
- Control Panel Login for Hosting Account
Your/client’s hosting must meet all requirements for the code or CMS that were used during development of the site. Any issues with the server will be the responsibility of the client or we will bill hourly to fix them. Any DNS changes or other server configuration must be done by the client or we will bill hourly for the changes.

Once final approval, payment, and all logins have been received, we will schedule the installation of the site. All changes must be completed prior to the scheduling of the installation. Installation will happen a minimum of 2 business days after the request to schedule installation occurs.

Any requests for changes or additional work after installation of the site on your/client’s server, will be billed at our standard hourly rate.

We provide monthly support options for updates to WordPress, plugin updates, backup, and site maintenance. Please contact us for more information.
If no monthly support option is selected, then website maintenance, updates, and backups are the sole responsibility of the website owner.
Rush Support
If you need emergency help with a project, we offer rush support. Rush support is billed in 3 hour increments with a minimum of 1 hour. All time must be paid for in advance. Any time in excess of the first hour, that isn’t used, can be refunded to you. Contact us for more details and rates.
